. . much of an issue or practical concern. Many teams do fine with two pitchers. You pull them when you need to without regard for tomorrow unless the game is out of hand. Then you might do what the hoos did today and just save innings with someone else. Take this weekend. Mazz has thrown 6 and Bree 7. No reason that either couldn't go another 7 tomorrow. Sure, gettin multiple looks works in the favor of offense but true #1 pitchers learn how to work through that.
