Actually, for the regular season, the competition will be less stiff ....
VT has played Georgia, South Carolina, and Auburn (2 games each) and Clemson and Duke (3 games each) already and the only top ACC opponent left is UVa. Don't play Louisville, Stanford, or FSU this year. Now, of course, the post-season will have strong competition.
