Right, gave up a single (run scored from 3rd) and then a walk
to load the bases. And then got 3 straight outs with no more runs scoring and then got the first out of the next inning. 1.1 innings, 1 hit, 1 walk, 2 Ks, no earned runs. Inherited runners on 1st and 3rd and no outs. I saw a run expectancy situation guide from MLB. 85% of the time, when there is a runner on 1st and 3rd and no outs, a run scores. Don't know how that translates to softball. But, even getting a double play can result in a run scoring. So, she gave up the run with a hit, but hard to keep that run from scoring in other ways.

Gives up the tying run, but that’s all

Didn't she gave up a walk to load the bases as well?**

So? Had no bearing on the inning as she got the next 3 superstars in a row.**
