I don't see it as disrespect to the game or their opponent. It is unusual

but if the coach thinks that is the environment her players will perform best in, that's her job. I doubt she is enforcing that on her players but allowing it. Hard to argue with the results. She is experienced enough to know if that behavior is distracting her team from the task at hand.
