That's a very non-specific comment. Many runs, phenomenal , high IQ

You are comparing her to having no SS at all. But, that's not the question is it? So, the issue is how many more runs, how much higher an IQ, how much more phenomenal than the player she would be competing with? Vs. the offensive production of the person she is competing with. Of course she is a great SS. Do you know how good Mizelle is at short? Then how can you say I am way off base? That was my caveat. "If Mizelle is a good SS". Rohs had 119 chances at SS. That's a little over 2 per game. Vs 4 ABs per game. And it's not just batting average. It's Xbhs, run production and potentially speed. And before you say that SS is the most important position, note that 2nd and 3rd base got an equal number of chances. Who is our best left fielder? I would say Blackwell is. Why did she get replaced? She was hitting .270. So, earlier in the year would it have been "Way off base" to suggest Martin would replace her? I hope AR improves her hitting.
