Possibly yes and possibly no. For the innings it was called
Ky did not score, but, there were some walks that turned over the line up. Had those walks not occurred it is possible that Abernathy may not have come up in the 7th inning and would not have hit that 3 run HR. So while it did not hurt at the time, may have assisted in the long run. Maybe to start the 7th they may have had 6-7-8-9 hitters instead of the top of the line up.
