We are fortunate the times it was called on Emma didn't hurt us
The Washington/Texas game was impacted by an illegal pitch call. That one alone may help drive the conversation after the season. Heck, it may even cause some conversations behind the scenes to not call it much going forward. Softball has a ton of momentum and the last thing the powers that be want is for the conversation to be about bad (or controversial) calls by umps instead of the players
