You can beat Duke in many ways, all of which consist of merely

outscoring them by one or more runs. Clemson beat them 13-11. Stanford beat them 11-4. We beat them 10-2. Oregon, OU and UCLA all scored 10+ runs against them in wins. I'm pretty sure we can issue 6 walks and win if we score more than 10 runs. BTW, Massey predicts a 6-5 VT win if that means anything.

One key will be NOT helping out Curd the way the hoos did Mazz last night.

Hopefully the ump today has a clue where the strike zone is.**

Mazz got ahead and was close enough for Chase pitches

Yes they can, but can’t issue 6 free passes and beat Duke**

I'm thinking it will take at least 6 runs for either team to win.**

I like that our 2-6 hitters are very “due”
