FSU has used the "full staff approach for several years. They've done OK

"FSU softball employs a "full staff approach" by utilizing its entire roster of pitchers in a way that plays to matchups and avoids over-reliance on a single ace. This strategy, influenced by professional baseball teams like the Tampa Bay Rays, focuses on versatility, mental toughness, and developing every player to be a "piece of the puzzle" for the team's success." Last season, they had four pitchers throw 73 or more innings, with the highest innings pitched being only 105.
