Softball is different in baseball in that regard
Not many of those “unwritten” rules in softball as there are in baseball. Plus with slappers, bunting is much more apart of the game than baseball. Had a girl once who was a converted regular right handed hitter but couldn’t cut it, so because of her athleticism and speed was converted to a lefty slapper. Well major adjustment period and early on couldn’t hack it as a slapper either but could bunt with the best of them so only way she got on base was via the bunt.
In a no hitter, yeah it sucks but I bet Emma would tell you they should have defended it better.
