and yes, there are games that are less attended like all teams but to say embarrassingly empty probably is a stretch. The size of the stadium may make it look that way but games are more well attended than you may think. They don't have a local following like here, but considering where they started it's pretty good, i.e. they had 554 their first Friday home conference game and then over 900 their last home game. Again, the stadium is large and people stand in the shade during hot weather or like to stand in general. You can buy general admission and there is a ton of space to sit or stand.
