Without an elite pitching coach, it will affect us against top teams.

I'm concerned about this. We're not some low-level softball team without pitching coach--we're considered a top 10 team. We're having to deal with this important loss. When I was a pitcher, I've always had a pitching coach who helped me every step and improve every game (like eliminate hopping). I can't imagine what it would have been like not having a pitching coach. Let's get real, VT not having an elite pitching coach is a big problem and can't be downplayed. So you have a good point LT--will a top level pitcher recruit come to VT when there is no elite pitching coach? Will young Lindsey improve without an elite pitching coach? Lindsey thought she would have Gillis when she committed to VT. What about the 2 new top-level 2023 pitchers getting ready to arrive, will they stay committed without an elite pitching coach?
