Not sure if they do this for other sports, but I would really prefer if VT allowed us to send back season tickets for students to get into games (especially basketball). I try to give mine away to students I know, but I can't easily screen for students if people I know don't need them. It would help to have a system that verifies who says they are a student. I've caught people that lied and then resold the ticket (at the gate could help prevent that). Anyway, If VT ticket office set up a process for STHs to give excess tickets back to go to students, I would send almost all my extra tix to them....
