Listened to softball podcast discussing the tiny strike zones in general

You see it across the country Now Mazz did miss badly on quite a few but she was also squeezed Imo the only reason some teams can compete with us is the tiny K zones. We don’t take nearly as many pitches as we want to hit. Some teams have “hitters” who foul off pitches & take tons of close pitches daring the ump to call strike 3 which is especially hard it seems (unless you’re Curd & throw one at Chatfield’s ankles) ** Edited by hokiepro at 3/14/2026, 12:37:17 PM
