Sure you can. We beat USC in the opener with 7 walks, 3 HBP, and 3 WP.
And we beat them again with 6 walks, 3 WP, and tightened things up to plunk only one batter. 5 walks, 1 WP, and 0 HBP this afternoon is an improvement. And keep in mind that all those stats don't even count wild pitches and passed balls with nobody on base.
Control issues have been a significant issue for us so far, win or lose.
