But remember...we haven't seen their best...lol Stock Down: South Carolina It’s hard not to believe South Carolina should’ve won at least one of the games against Virginia Tech. The Gamecocks put together early leads, but one big inning in each contest doomed them. Ashley Chastain needs an arm to step up the way Sam Gress did and bear down in those tight moments the way she did last season. That didn’t happen this weekend, as no one stopped the bleeding. If the Gamecocks want to reach the heights they did in 2025, that has to change.
