We will go as far as our pitchers will take us. Not having a pitcher in

the current rotation that can throw a consistent drop ball or change up for called strikes or swings and misses will catch up to us, and may already have. Teams really only have to prepare for one type of pitcher because Grein and Lemley have similar stuff as well as Mazz albeit she is coming from the left side. Grizzard is more of a drop ball pitcher and throws the change some too but the coaches haven't been able to trust her as much I assume. With the current set up, I just don't see them going that far in regionals honestly. We don't seem to be able to string together enough hits to score without homeruns either right now. Just my opinion although I don't like it, it's my honest opinion. ** Edited by NC_Hokies at 4/5/2024, 8:04:45 PM
