Why am I posting this on the realignment board?
That's because this is the kind of metrics Sankey would use for his 5-11 model.
See how many Big 12 teams are in the top 20? ZERO.
What about the final 2024 ESPN FPI? Again zero Big 12 teams in the top 20.
Yormark is pushing for the 5-11 model, but I'm telling you, Sankey's 5-11 would have very different selection criteria from Yormark's.

He could if it were a computer algorithm, but the selection committee has probably already been overvaluing B10 and SEC teams.

Is that from ESPN or the Mississippi Chamber of Commerce?

The idea that there is a poll already before a single game has been played
tells you everything you need to know. Where are they getting the data from? LOL.
"ESPN" should have nothing to do with any poll factoring in to the CFP. Grotesque conflict of interest.
