In another example of a school dropping a sport, Utah
has dropped beach volleyball. Apparently, it doesn't play in Ames Iowa or Morgantown WV.
They need a coastal conference. Don't suppose you guys know of a conference like that.

Isn't beach volleyball only a sport in 12 programs?
It was on TV at the bar we were at yesterday so I kind of got educated whether I liked it or not. Boise State lost to Stanford.

Not sure I'd say indoor is ACC's #1 sport either.

At least Miami should add it, then get those FSU and Miami games on the ACCN.

I can think of one school that has beach volleyball. It's a directional
school. But they do the pre-game right 😆. Vid.

I think those media contracts need to be renegotiated, and this stuff needs to broadcast in prime spots.

She’s said she will not sign off on the settlement until they come up with a way to preserve current roster spots, so how can they cut an entire team of roster spots and meet her demands? Am I missing something here?

How long, I’m not sure, but probably two to three years.
However, after the settlement is finalized and approved, I’d wager that schools will find a way to work around some of the phase-in requirements.

Just happened to get a glimpse of them on TV today
Several other non-coastal teams in the 16-team bracket too
