Putting a genie back in the bottle again. Not that easy.
What some people seem to forget is that college football has a longer and more sustained history than the NFL.
You don't just mold that into a minor league system.
The NBA has the G-League. They have some talented players for sure. I haven't watched a single game. But I'll watch a late WCC game out in California between Pepperdine and Loyola Marymount that has no future NBA players involved. Why?

I wonder if this settlement breaks some athletic departments. Will teams stop competing at the highest levels based on money? Could the collapse of college sports be on the horizon? That might be what is needed
