Geez that Watson dude...
Radford to the SEC had an invite in 1975. Turned it down due the Bobcats were the biggest football team in town. Watson also states RU reinvented the wheel. RU also will take FSU place in new ACC.
I could not turn down the opportunity. Whether Watson is on to some things is debatable. The things he says about 2003 . Then to know VT maybe involved with ACC 2011ish makes me sort of say hmmmm..
PS....I am not big Rick Watson fan. He was anti VT all sports except WBB(which he broadcasted well in late 90's). He does have a decent show but again he is like most talking heads. Posting poop to see if it sticks.

PS I have a lot of ties to Radford, love the school and the place, this is more of a question about the credibility of those talking, because some people think this guy has a pipeline to the SEC and B1G, he may get lucky, but I still don’t believe he really knew anything.

He was a VT cancer. All except WBB. I do think he got pulled down by someone BIG at VT. Not sure the whole story there. I just remember something happened. I will say this his shows are not bad. He is just not much more than a RU broadcaster when it comes to info.
