There is a ranking which simply list attendance averages for the period of 2018 to 2022 and the percent of their stadium capacity they reached. Bear in mind that this covers the Covid years and at least 6 of the 9 had coaching changes in this period. Also some may have reduced capacity. But at least it treats something like 132 schools the same. These 9 ACC schools (including ND) are the ones that have had at least a little mention in various P2 speculation. But the P2 now has just about all of the "national brand" teams already, lacking only ND, Miami, Clemson and FSU, There are several national brands in basketball still out there too like UNC, Duke, KU but only UNC among them has shown any longer term pulse in football. So are the P2 now looking beyond "national brands" and to other factors like academic peers and non revs? After all there is a lot of calendar in the football off season.
