CBS Reports that FSU Upcoming Meeting is the First Step Towards Leaving ACC
Also goes into the Pluses & Minuses of each P2 as a landing spot for FSU with the B1G being the more logical choice. The article also talks about reduced shares for any ACC team entering a P2. Odd with the SEC because no other add in the three previous SEC expansion events came in at reduced shares. Maybe just another sign of the times. I do think FSU would need to have a P2 spot already assured for meetings to mean a thing.

Dan Wetzel didn't exactly say that the SEC had "Rejected" FSU. I listened to a lot of his Podcast on Yahoo. Wetzel pretty much just said what many say, that Florida & South Carolina would vigorously protest SEC entry by FSU & Clemson. However Twitter has a lot of commentary under these type posts that is lacking these days about anywhere else on the internet. These posts are interesting to me just due to that.

Do we have some 'negative branding' with FSU behavior in this. constant whining, but without ACC rights they would be nothing....

College football is actually the most anti-competitive thing going on out there in all of sports today.
The day they embrace true competition is the day the sport takes off to new heights never seen before. But no. We have this for seemingly ever. Weak men make for hard times. And what is happening in college football doesn't need to be going down this way, but it is. Pathetic.

fans on the face of the earth. It would be easier to generate more interest by allowing other schools to compete rather than just try to artificially "create" more Bama, Georgia, Michigan and OSU fans. Bama isn't the biggest school in the country, they don't have the wealthiest alumni or the largest alumni base in the country, why have they been dominant over the past 15 years? It's not like Tuscaloosa is a wonderland destination with palm trees and oceanfront landscapes.
