ESPN potentially moving flagship channel to streaming
I'm trying to think of the impact this will have to the college sports media revenue model. Seems like it may be additive, but I could be interpreting it incorrectly. ** Edited by hokieball at 5/19/2023, 8:54:21 AM

for those that truly cut the cable and don't just get it through streaming
being able to subscribe to ESPN for live games seems like a good thing, heck, I would consider it, about the only thing i watch on live tv is live sports on espn and mlb. Pull out the antenna's for the local channels again.

his https://thewaltdisneycompany.com/disneys-q2-fy23-earnings... which called it "inevitable" but a decision they would not take lightly. I don't know if WSJ has more information than that.
