OH! THE ABSURDITY OF IT ALL
A 20 Team Big 10 and 20 Team SEC essentially become 4 10 Team Conferences that only meet for Championship Games. At some point those 10 Team Conferences want to Break Off on their own and play against teams in the other 2 10 Team Conferences that they aren’t associated with.
Part of me wants VT to do whatever it can to end up in one of these absurd 20 Team Conferences and Part of me wants this 7 Team group add Kansas, WV, TCU, etc. and start something new. None of it looks as good to me as the ACC was in the earlier 2000’s where the Conference was more balanced and stronger in the grand scheme of things. FSU, VT, UM, Clemson, UNC etc. were factors in the National Scheme, not just Clemson. Anyway, I think the Crazy Tran left the station when USC & UCLA joined Maryland & Rutgers in the Big 10.

the AFC south I predict. Or something like that. Maybe the SEC Mid Atlantic. Or better yet, SEC Atlantic Coast.

same scheduling format as the NFL. Specifically I am referring to playing every other team in the division home and away in the same season and rotating the remaining spots among the other divisions.

opt to just play games among themselves. Once that decision is made, then the ACC, Big XII, and Pac-12 are screwed anyways because the effectively lost their seat at the table. Plus, it would give the Big Ten and SEC the option to add as many schools as either conference wanted without impacting the regular season too much.
