Maybe it’s a 🦊 and 🐭 game, but Finebaum is an ESPN employee, so just maybe ESPN has realized what we have been talking about for ~Decade, and their audience is going to shrink if they use the Unprofessional Wrestling predetermined selection model for many of their selections. 🤷♂️

Auto-bids make the SEC and B1G conference regular seasons less exciting.
So for that reason alone, fans of the P2 should oppose it.

Think of schools like Illinois, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt and Purdue.
Guaranteed 4 picks gives them a much better chance at getting into the CFP than relying on an at large pick.
Think about Indiana. They got in by a sliver, riding a weak schedule. Near coin flip between them and Bama.
Guaranteed 4 picks puts into black and white whether they get in .
Not left to whims of a committee.
