remain in the ACC a few more years for various reasons. What I am curious to know your opinion on given the Big Ten's announcement tomorrow is whether the Big Ten could announce a dollar amount that is large enough that would get Notre Dame to re-think its position on remaining in the ACC a few more years and instead look to join the Big Ten sooner rather than later? If so, then what do you think that dollar amount might be?

Would be not unsubstantially decrease by GOR/ exit fee payouts.

Big Ten's payout to each school is large enough, then it may be enough to cover the GOR/exit fee in only a few payments given that Notre Dame isn't a football member in the ACC.

contract with ND, ending after the 2031 season. That gives the B1G a chance to add a few more desirable schools and build up models on how much $ ND could add to the conference payouts if they joined. ND or not, you know the post 2031 media deal will be more than this coming announcement.
What will be interesting to see is if ESPN and the ACC rework their media deal in the coming years, add a school or three, and vote to increase exit fees or extend a GOR. The schools that are reluctant to do that may have a foot out the door.
