My guess is that this B1G deal runs the same length as the next NBC

contract with ND, ending after the 2031 season. That gives the B1G a chance to add a few more desirable schools and build up models on how much $ ND could add to the conference payouts if they joined. ND or not, you know the post 2031 media deal will be more than this coming announcement. What will be interesting to see is if ESPN and the ACC rework their media deal in the coming years, add a school or three, and vote to increase exit fees or extend a GOR. The schools that are reluctant to do that may have a foot out the door.
