conference realignment. Please feel to correct me, but comparing our SLC/west coast media saturation on that issue to my compulsive daily checks of mid-Atlantic news media, including major TV and on-line news to which I subscribe, there seems to be a dearth of ACC media analysis/realignment concern. While I fully appreciate Utah Utes and other Pac 12 teams are more immediately impacted (therefore warranting more media coverage), If I'm too far geographically removed, then I apologize... but do y'all sense a lack of ACC urgency/no rising pulse back home? My question is not an attempt to editorialize. I'm truly trying to get a feel of the land back home (Richmond and Lynchburg,especially, but mid-Atlantic, generally).

because it hasn't really hit us directly yet. There is still thus hope the Grant of rights will save us. small hope ND will join with us. That's probably the biggest thing, waiting to see what ND does (if anything). There may be an assumption that it will be ok because we will just go to the SEC (which is certaily no guarantee).
The thing is we do not know what is going on behind closed doors.
there are reports about teams leaving ACC for other conferences and where they could go, but nothing I have seen where the ACC itself has responded or is even considering being proactive

teams like Tech sink to lower echelon, has been conference affiliations. I don't have a specific link...rather this is my personal (perhaps mistaken) analysis of everything I'm reading/hearing out here in SLC. Utah Ute's, by the way, don't seem worried, curiously.

i could definitely see that happening. what really is the point of the SEC/Big 10 continuing to add more members? reports seem to say that the new deals for each will give each team 100 mill a year. if you add another team, they have to increase your tv deal by at least 100 million to make it worth your while. when do you get to a point of diminishing returns?
