encouraged, but maybe if you step back and look at the bigger picture, you wouldn't be so quick to judge. The ACC appears that they are about to add three schools, two of which were "too good" for the B12. Let's look at what being "too good" for those flyover truck stop beer drinking football/basketball crazed schools got them. They are currently without a home, and are trying to buy their way into your conference. So, the hoity academic snobbery schools from CA are trying to get into the ACC, so they can what? Rub elbows with other academic snobbery institutions like NC and Duke? Clearly the ACC will be a much better conference than the B12, just like the PAC was leaps and bounds better than the B12.
