If I remember correctly

IF ND decides to join a conference for football before the ACC GOR is up (not likely IMHO) then per the ND/ACC contract that conference has to be the ACC. Now I'm sure that clause is bought out easier than FSU leaving the ACC if ND needs it to be - but something to that effect is/was in place - I may be wrong on timing. But that also means ND may have an interest in the ACC demise if they find they were being forced into a conference anyway. Can't join - or pay to get out of - something that doesn't exist. But this is much less likely now that the CFB playoff is changing.

ND has remained oddly quiet.

Money is the only thing that matters now. If the money dries up, ND moves.**
