I think it's a good thing the ACC didn't add those Pac-12 schools...

since it would've cost each ACC school $1-3 million a year. That expansion would've further widened the revenue gap between the ACC and Power 2. Plus you would also have to add extra travel costs for non-revenue programs to travel to the West Coast. As for the Big 12 expansion, adding all those Pac-12 schools likley didn't add any significant value to their conference. Now the Big 12 or 16 has even more mouths to feed. They already had the state of Utah with BYU and now they have 2 schools from Arizona. The Big 12 (16) is composed of all mid to upper mid tier P-5 schools but they have no members who are national brands except for Kansas men's basketball. At least the ACC still has Clemson and FSU and even Miami and UNC and Duke in Hoops. I do agree with all who said the ACC was once again late to the party. Maybe it was a good thing this time around.

This sounds like a “hurry up and do something” plan.**

As I keep saying, the ACC is always a day late and dollar short.
