When the ACC first announced they were taking Miami, Syracuse and BC--that's when I was hoping the SEC would take two pretty darn good football schools with decent sized fan bases--VT and WVU. I also thought that the ACC made a massive blunder by trying to usurp the BEFC schools piecemeal, rather than all at once. I think the B1G is making the same mistake with its tinkering with the Pac-12. This process hurts everyone's brand. But the B1G might be too powerful to see its effects, where the ACC was not so lucky.
