I actually think many of those are great trips

Smaller college towns, easy to get to, fan-friendly, usually winnable games. I went to VT's game at Purdue a few years back and had a good time. I imagine Indiana would be similar. Much prefer it to a big city environment. If you are only comparing those schools to Alabama and LSU and only for environment, pretty much every other school would be found lacking. But you have to add other factors that are just as important, like "being able to win the game."
