Regarding the big ten, you don't have to be good, just need people watching

People get excited about Big 10 football. If more people got excited about ACC football, we could get a better media deal without actually improving the teams, or adding Elite teams. It's about viewership and excitement. Big 10 has simply done a better job of marketing itself. If the ACC cannot add better teams, it can still do something. Hire elite marketers to market the conference. The ACC has a great geographic footprint, lots of potential viewers, the conference needs to sell itself to these viewers. We don't need Notre Dame, we need sales people to convince people to embrace the local product. We have the population. Use the current discontent with the state of college athletics to our favor. Promote, tradition, regional matchups, colleges concerned about academics,. "this is real college football, not a semi pro league". ** Edited by wwhokie1 at 7/8/2022, 11:38:44 AM
