Overlook the source, you can come back to it in judging the content/context of the article, but just read it with an open mind. I think it touches and elaborates on a lot of interesting points, especially regarding media rights, and why it's almost a certainty that the ACC is dead man walking. It's not just recent terrible decisions like the CalFord/SMU expansion - it's multiple decades of terrible decisions and financial mismanagement.
The only real bone I had to pick with any of it is the assertion that the addition of Virginia Tech somehow rendered the ACC unable to or didn't help to sell the ACCN as a basic cable tier channel to distributors - it's absolutely laughable for anyone to think that the ACC already had the state all tied up with UVA football, and even more laughable if you consider that VT joined the conference in 2003, when it was a nationally elite TV draw for football.

FSU seems to be just biding its time for a P2 invite that might never come.
