Yes the B1G and SEC and all the others went with this, but for very different reasons. The other conferences voted for it because the B1G and SEC said we will leave and do our own playoff if you don't vote to give us 60% control. All you need to win control is 51% of the organization or company, those two have 60%. So nobody wimped out, they just knew that the B1G and SEC where holding the winning cards. So they voted for it. Didn't want to, but having P2 do their own playoff was worse., at least right now because ACC/B12 (after they are invaded) and now G6 are not ready to do their own playoff. Now to the ND MOU that if ranked 12 they are in, even if a school like Miami beat them and was ranked 10 (like this year), they had no problem giving ND the guarantee they were in CFP, even if they knocked out a better ranked team in their conference. Why? Because they know when that happens there will be outrage and they can change it with their 60% control. That or they will change it before then, because they have the power to change it.
