A&M athletic department eliminated a lot of jobs today. Expect to see more

of this. While it's never fun to see someone lose a job, it's obvious that athletic departments (like big academia overall) has a LOT of administrative bloat. Too many people were getting too fat for too long. I don't like the direction college athletics is headed, but I do consider fat trimming like this to be a good thing and long overdue.
