What if the BIG and SEC are really done? If Oregon and Washington

can't make the grade for an invite, how many blue bloods are there left that can? How many schools left are worth 80-100M a year to the networks? If the SEC or BIg expand, they have to be worth at least that much. Those conferences might be happy with what they have, and see how this works out. They let the PAC disintegrate, they left the B12 a shell of its former self, do they even care what happens to the ACC? Texas, OU, and USC are blue bloods, now, and historically. Washington has an argument, but Oregon has been a football brand for just over 20 years. (I'll let you guys discuss the ACC schools, because while I have an opinion, I'm here for the info and insight).

I'd hardly put Miami in the blue blood category if you are limiting it

Five NAt’s in 40 years is more than Georgia, Penn State, Michigan combined.**

I'd trade Penn State for Miami in the conference any day of the week.**

This, and 1/2 of them would be below .500. I'll take the MAC.**

If UO and UW want to call the B1G's bluff, they should be talking to the

OU and Washington are in a tough place. If they signed

Do they have to get a return this year?

With 12 playoff spots, ratings will soar for all of the teams in the mix,

No schools individually are - or maybe even in pairs

Oregon/Wash to B1G seems forgone conclusion based

Yeah, Oregon and Washington will get half shares until the next contract in

The B1G might control the west coast market but the ACC...

There are no properties left that move the needle

I agree with all of that - so the BIG might be done, and done
Big12 guy 08/03/23 05:39 PM ET
Despite that thorough analysis, I suggest that we keep the CR board
