Exactly which is why I understand why people often lump it in with the

private schools when talking about the ACC's "problems" in football. When it comes to athletics, it behaves more like a private school than a large public school. If GT were to end up in the Big Ten, then I guess it would become another Northwestern or Minnesota instead of a Wisconsin.
