I don't think it's that simple

The current Big East deal is about $7.3M/school if my AI machine is correct....FOX, NBC, and TNT hold the rights. So there's three entities that probably aren't going to be particularly incentivized to bid up the Big 12 basketball rights vis a vis the Big East. And ESPN has been selling off Big 12 content en masse since it re-upped the deal in 2022.
