I am not understanding the draw of the P2

If VT performs well enough to be inconsideration the ACC allocation systems means that they will be earning a lot more than average in the conference. If we assume that the p2 conferences adopt a similar pay for performance scheme, all we would be doing is moving from the top tier in the ACC to the bottom tier of the P2. My guess is that financially it is a wash, and Competitively, it is a lot less fun for the fan base. ** Edited by VT ChemE 1986 at 4/27/2026, 10:08:28 PM
