I don't believe so unless they are willing to demolish buildings or

facilities to free up the land. The school might (and I stress MIGHT) be able to build land nearby to build a stadium. However, it would be away from the rest of the athletic facilities. If you use the street view on Google maps, then you will see the space issue. Something else to consider is the state politics. Remember the State of Connecticut built the football stadium using taxpayer dollars. Even though the state probably regrets the decision because it couldn't lure the Patriots from Massachusetts, it has too much pride to give up on the stadium and let UConn walk away. Unfortunately, UConn is probably stuck there until there is a shift in the political winds.
