Virginia Tech being in the B1G versus the Sun Belt ( I love that conference for football by the way, because they will have some interesting rivalry games IMHO because of the close proximity of many teams). However, if we are in the B1G and Sands has a big initiative, and he wants to partner with Ohio State on it, it will be better if he calls their President that he has gotten to know better because of being in the same conference meetings etc...IMHO he has a better chance saying yes because they are familiar with each other and trust each other more because of the more time spent together. That said, he could do the same thing with Georgia or Florida if we end up in the SEC. However, there are more schools like Virginia Tech in the B1G or SEC than the Sun Belt. You may not agree with that, but that's okay, I have been with my wife for 40 years, and the rarity is when we agree 100% on something. :-)
