The magnificent seven

The magnificent seven schools (UNC, NC State, Miami, Florida State, Clemson, Virginia and Virginia Tech) were not meeting in secrecy to discuss the floral arrangements at the corporate offices. The revelation that half of the conference was secretly meeting behind the commissioners back and the backs of the other members to plot the destruction of the ACC can’t just be explained away with kumbaya comments. If they thought that the dissolution option wasn’t even a possibility then why would they have bothered to have secret meetings? What actions will the other schools that weren’t included in the secret meetings now take to secure their futures? This cloak-and-dagger story is just beginning.
