Toledo football got 2.5M viewers last

year. That, and every single MAC fan are the "casual" viewers that watch OSU and Michigan. Certainly not close to a power school, but they do indeed have fans. The midweek games have decimated their attendance figures, so there is a line on whether or not the ESPN mid week games are worth it. The MAC used to be the Friday night game in the 90's, right up until the networks saw the numbers, and got higher profile games on Friday night. The mid week games are for exposure only, and they are probably lucky to have those.
