If enough schools leave the ACC, then ESPN may not want to renew. Otherwise

they have a good deal paying the ACC schools 40 million, while they pay the SEC schools 80 million. It’s all about the math πŸ’΅. I still think not much happens until pay for play is resolved. The small expensive private schools get huge donations from former Olympic Sports Graduates. Stanford leads the way at making this happen. What does pay for play have to do with pay for play? Well almost all if not all of the College Coaches of Olympic Sports think there will be Sports cut if pay for play happens. Consequently, if there is a way to opt out of pay for play, they take the Ivy League approach, and opt out of pay for play. Because like the ivies they get big donor money from those former Olympic Sports Athletes.
