I've seen nothing to suggest the b12 had any interest in the Pac 4.

The proposal to merge was made and was shot down by the b12. The b12 always said its focus was the 4C.....and they achieved that. The day after adding them Big 12 officials were quoted as saying, "we're done". ** Edited by xx97 at 9/1/2023, 6:16:02 PM

Who did you beat out for Colorado ect? Lol**
HokiePail 09/01/23 07:00 PM ET
Why the insecurity?
Old Line Hokie 09/01/23 06:48 PM ET
Logic won't work with the Big12 fanatics. Desperate to be #3.**
neworleanshoo 09/01/23 06:50 PM ET
I'm nit the one pretending the b12 had any interest in Calford.
xx97 09/01/23 07:07 PM ET
Oh, so now it's that the Big12 had no interest? Gotcha.**
neworleanshoo 09/01/23 07:10 PM ET
Piss off, kid.**
mancunian 09/01/23 06:03 PM ET
Yep, kind of like you all with BYU, Houston and UCF…
BROman Hokie 09/01/23 04:49 PM ET
I agree that the b12 and acc have more in common than not
xx97 09/01/23 06:07 PM ET
Still, the ACC didn’t lose its top brands**
BROman Hokie 09/01/23 10:18 PM ET
Arizona is the only program that moves the needle. But yes, good for you.**
neworleanshoo 09/01/23 08:59 PM ET
Repeatedly saying it does not make it so. SMU is the only "reject"
neworleanshoo 09/01/23 04:46 PM ET
Please detail where Cal and Stanford "had no interest"...
xx97 09/01/23 07:08 PM ET
Cal and Stanford never applied to B12 to be rejected - and not sure b12
Hokie12thman 09/01/23 03:38 PM ET
Says who?
xx97 09/01/23 04:03 PM ET
Not accurate.......
2hhoop3 09/01/23 10:36 PM ET
Correct - SMU was rejected by Big 12 - like I said -already have 4 in TX
Hokie12thman 09/01/23 05:37 PM ET
Of course, because SMU is obvious overlap with TCU.**
neworleanshoo 09/01/23 04:47 PM ET
So was Utah with BYU. Dogs are dogs.**
xx97 09/01/23 06:11 PM ET
Yes but you're the one who took them. Also, don't forget Baylor.
neworleanshoo 09/01/23 06:48 PM ET
The main reason SMU madezero sense is because
xx97 09/01/23 07:10 PM ET
That's yet to be seen, but we got them for FREE and got into Texas.**
neworleanshoo 09/01/23 07:11 PM ET
SMU begged the b12 for free membership long ago. They're crap.**
xx97 09/01/23 07:13 PM ET
Again, the Big12 already had stupid overlap, that's why they weren't added.
neworleanshoo 09/01/23 08:57 PM ET
Oh look, it’s message board version of the UnaBomber**
ombandit 09/01/23 03:36 PM ET
There was rejection, but not by the B12.**
Stech 09/01/23 03:33 PM ET
B12 already rejected a full on PAC merger. They didn't want the 4 rejects.
xx97 09/01/23 04:04 PM ET
Right on SMU, wrong on Stanford and Cal, but stop the rivalry stuff, this
Stech 09/01/23 04:33 PM ET
Nothing personal. Just having fun with realignment.
xx97 09/01/23 05:00 PM ET
Full yes, but they knew Stanford and Cal would not come, Oregon State and
Stech 09/01/23 05:19 PM ET
I've seen nothing to suggest the b12 had any interest in the Pac 4.
xx97 09/01/23 06:15 PM ET
Sure they were done, because Stanford and Cal had no interest.**
Stech 09/01/23 08:40 PM ET
Hey, Richard! You have yet to share UCFs
HOKIEGOBBLE 09/01/23 03:27 PM ET
Not a UCF fan. But I bet it smokes SMU, Cal, and Stanford's, though
xx97 09/01/23 04:05 PM ET
You've got some real Baghdad Bob energy going. I like it. **
KaHOOnah 09/01/23 03:27 PM ET
