VT and UVA are worth more to conf networks in separate conferences

Each brings a footprint of 8+ million; closer to 9 if you include DC. VT and NCSU are worth more to SECN than Clemson and FSU (and they don't piss off USCe and UF). UVA and UNC are worth more to the B1G than the Pacific NW. (I think Skipper and Thompson are right)
