Here’s the thing. There will still be an ACC.

Even if the Mag7 left, Duke, Wake, BC, Syracuse will remain. And having over a billion dollars of settlement money means that league can invite who it wants as opposed to having to break up. Gonzaga? UConn? Villanova? San Diego St? If going PE is what it takes for the Big XII to make its attempt to add FSU, Clemson, Miami and Louisville, then it’s worth it for the Big XII to shoot its shot. Given all that, it is my ‘opinion’ that FSU and the B1G have already made their agreement. (And that’s been my opinion since back in 2023; it wasn’t formulated in the past 24 hours by reading this board.)
